WHAT DO YOU DO AT BISSELL BROTHERS?
Some guy told me yesterday that I was really good at being a lead business person because I described the beer in a specific way, using the word opportunity a lot—I would probably say connecting with customers—try to make them enjoy their day, enjoy the little things, the experience.
HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH BISSELL BROTHERS?
Through the craft beer community and drinking amazing beer and loving everything Bissell stands for—I wanted to be a part of it.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BBB?
The community of people who make it what it is. I feel like BBB is the difference—a company that has helped to set the standard. Infecting people in a way that is beyond the food and the industry—it’s like art, you know, there is a piece of art that is amazing, but you can’t really tell why. There is a big difference in working for a company that mimics another one vs. one that is genuine.
WHAT DO YOU DO OUTSIDE OF THE BREWERY?
I’m a painter. I like to do outdoorsy things like fish and hike. I hang out with my dogs, I like to be active. I go on trips.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION?
I have a lamp that I’ve had since I was 10, and it is really ugly—it’s a baby riding a dolphin on a marble circle with a gold velvet lampshade and it has crystals hanging off of it—it’s the first thing I purchased when I was a kid. If there was a fire, I would grab that and my dogs.
IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPER POWER WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would probably want to fly. When I dream, I fly, but it’s more like swimming in the air, even though I don’t really like heights.
