Our flagship; a brightly dank ale that threads many needles.

Malts: 2-row, Malted Wheat, Flaked Rye, Flaked Barley
The Substance was first brewed in November 2013 and we have never looked back. We work hard to provide the people of Southern Maine (and those willing to enter our realm from away) with a fresh batch of this beer every week. This beer is voraciously consumed, so every week, whether on draft at our amazing local bars, or at the brewery for cans, you are getting days-old beer at most. That's something we take pride in.
A hoppy, hazy session beer. Eclectic and crushable.
ABV: 4% OG: 1.042
Hops: Galaxy, Ella
Malts: Pilsner, Flaked Wheat, Malted Wheat, Vienna, Flaked Oats
Due to the demand of the Substance Ale, we were not able to bring another beer to production for 9 months after our launch, while we waited for our 3rd fermenter. The first creation to be born after its arrival was Baby Genius, the low-abv-huge-body blonde ale we had been dreaming of, with hop combinations so new that there was virtually nothing to compare.
This beer has been retired for the cold season, but will be unleashed again for the wet hot American summer of 2015 in 16 oz. cans and on draft at select bars.
Sticky hops layered over soft malt. Great pairing with involuntary memories.
ABV: 5.6% OG: 1.054
Hops: Simcoe, Merkur, Centennial, Chinook
Malts: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Red X, Malted Wheat, Melanoidin
Bucolia was our answer to the question of how to provide a robust beer with a deep, interesting malt character, while staying true to our passion of producing fresh, soaring hop flavors in our offerings.
We are thrilled with the result, and will continue brewing Bucolia through late Autumn / Early Winter.
OUR FIRST DARK OFFERING; THIS PORTER IS LACED WITH LACTOSE SUGAR TO BALANCE THE TREMENDOUS AMOUNTS OF AMARILLO HOPS CONTAINED WITHIN.
ABV: 6.3% OG: 1.066
Malts: 2-row, maris otter, flaked oats, flaked barley, pale chocolate, carastan, caramel 80, midnight wheat
Debuted in December 2014 to commemorate both the holiday season and our first anniversary, this unique celebratory ale will always rear its yellow, no-good, fore-flushing kiester around Christmastime.
